Breitling’s introduced the Chronomat series in 1984 to celebrate their centenary and mark the return of the mechanical chronograph in a watch series to serve all your needs, at the beach or the red carpet. Today’s Chronomat continues to resonate, providing purpose and style. The design of this Chronomat Chronograph is based on the “Frecce Tricolore” chronograph, originally developed in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron. This model’s modern-retro inspired stainless steel and 18K red gold case is 42mm in diameter, 15.1mm thick, water resistant to 200m, and has a screw-down crown and unidirectional rotating bezel with diving scale. The bezel, chronograph pushers, and crown are in 18K red gold, bringing a strong dose of luxury and elegance to this sporting watch. The dial is a sunray brushed anthracite with black chronograph registers, with matching red gold applied markers and hands with Super Luminova, and a red-tipped central chronograph seconds hand that has the classic italicized Breitling “B”. The sub-dials are set in a classic 3-6-9 layout, with running seconds at 9H, 30 minute and 12-hour registers for the chronograph at 3H and 6H respectively, and a date window inset in the 6H sub-dial.

This Chronomat is powered by the self-winding Breiting Manufacture Caliber B01 with a 70-hour power reserve and has a sapphire crystal that is glare proofed on both sides with a sapphire case back to allow viewing the beautiful movement. It is Chronometer Certified and is backed by a 5-year Breitling warranty (extensible for an additional 3 years with registration).
